To keep guests and wild animals safe~
Marloth Park is a wonderful place to immerse yourself in nature and embrace the magic of the wild. To ensure that this is possible while keeping both our guests and our beloved wildlife safe, the following rules of Marloth Park conservancy apply, and offenders WILL be prosecuted:
- No walking around in the dark (Sunset to sunrise curfew is enforced for all residents and guests).
- Speed limit – 50 km Max on tar roads and 30 km max on sand roads.
- Animals have right of way at ALL TIMES. While driving, please look out for the little creatures like tortoises, snakes, and lizards, etc.
- No hand-held spotlights allowed at night when viewing animals – it causes the animals to be temporarily blinded.
- Please do not feed the animals – especially monkeys and baboons.
- Strictly no pets allowed.
- No music or loud noise – disturbing animals or neighbors is strictly prohibited.
- No excessive drinking.
- No littering.

Deposit:
Deposit – A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of booking to secure the booking. Balance payable 14 days before arrival. If the booking falls within 14 days before arrival 100% deposit.
An additional breakage deposit of R 1000 per house booked is payable.

Cancellation Policy:
In the event of a no-show, premature departure or late arrival, the full cost of the booking is payable. The following cancellation terms are applicable:
- Bookings cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival – no fees will be charged. If cancelled or modified later, 100 % of the total price of the reservation will be charged.
- Bookings are only confirmed with a deposit, balance payable 30 days from date of check in.
- Bookings made without a deposit will be cancelled.
Check-in & Check-Out
Check-in is strictly after 2 pm and check-out is strictly by 10 am. Please note that late check outs incur an additional fee of R 150 p/h.
Child Policy
All children are welcome at the same rates as adults.
Max. Occupation
Accommodation is restricted to the number/ standard capacity of beds in each room. Please confirm these at the time of booking if you are unsure.
Malaria
Marloth Park falls within a low-risk Malaria area. While not everyone elects to take preventative medicine, guests are advised to seek preventative advice from their local medical practitioner to make an informed choice, as prophylactics usually need to be taken in advance.
